Missouri J-school Experiences Reality TV

On Friday Sept. 23, Linda Blue Bell of Entertainment Tonight, Jim Berger of High Noon Entertainment, Lance Heflin of LHelflin Filmworks and Jon Murray of Bunim/Murray Productions joined the Missouri School of Journalism in a symposium about the connections of reality and entertainment television and how they are connected journalism, news and the media.

Even though the world of entertainment and reality TV can sometimes be a stretch from local news, the guests of the symposium assured the audience that basic journalism skills are what will get you far in any field.
